About Our Teas

|Where are your teas coming from?

Our teas are mostly planted and processed in different plantations in Taiwan. For more information regarding each tea, please refer to its specific product page. We will also stated the origin country of the non-Taiwanese teas.

|Are your teas organic? Do you use pesticide on them?

We have some certified organic teas; you can find them under the "Organic" filter or by searching "organic" in our shop. Other teas may not be organic, but are all planted and processed with safety methods. All of the safety tests are up to standard.

|Did you personally made all of the teas in your shop?

We believe in professionalism. Although we understand how to produce tea, it takes a lot experiences to professionalize in tea production. Therefore, we dedicate ourselves in promoting tea culture and knowledge, while cooperating with tea farmers from all over Taiwan, exchanging our experiences and know-hows, assisting them to produce high-quality teas for us and for you.

|I've purchased OOO tea(s) from you, but I can't find it on the website. Do you still carry the tea(s)?

We have a large variety of teas; it wouldn't be practical for us and for you to list them all on the website. If you are looking for specific tea(s) you've purchased before, please contact us with the name of the tea, so we can check if we still have them. You are also welcome to reach out if you are in search of specific tea(s) from a certain year.

|Do you provide free tea samples?

No, we don't. You can always purchase our smallest package if you just want to taste it. We also provide tea tasting service in house if you are able to visit us.

|Will teas expire?

No, they won't. Just like wine, if you store them right, teas can become better with time. It is better to store teas in a clean, dry, an odorless place with no direct sunlight. We suggest having a certain amount of teas to store if you want to age them. Storing too little an amount will risk the teas being affected by humidity. Also they will not age as well.

|What to do if my tea gets moldy?

If you see white or green molds on you teas, it means that either your storage is too humid, or some water might have gone in the package accidentally. Please throw away the moldy teas. However, if the tea only smells humid but hasn't yet gone moldy, you can try the following method to revive it. Put the tea in a clean, non-transparent caddy or iron cookie box, put on the lid and leave it under the sun for a day. Be sure to put the lid on; do not let the sun shine upon the tea leaves directly. After a day, open the lid so the humidity can evaporate. Repeat until there's no more humid smell.

About Our Other Products

|Are your teapots and tea wares made in Taiwan?

All of our purple-clay teapots are made in Yixing, China, by local artisans. Some of them are custom made, some are handpicked by us. As for the tea wares, most of them are from Taiwanese company, with some coming from Japan.

|Why do purple-clay teapots come in so many colors? Are they dyed?

Purple-Clay is a natural mineral that comes in a variety of colors. Those are all natural colors, not dyed. The color of the teapot depends also on its formula, fineness of the mineral, and temperature and time of burning. Therefore, you can see different shades of red, purple, yellow, etc., on teapots. Despite that we try to showcase the colors as accurately as possible, please know that screen settings can also affect on the colors you see in the pictures.

|I've heard you have a lot of special style teapots, how come I can't find them on the website?

You've heard right! We do have a lot more teapots than we can put on the website. Since some of them only have one or two available, it wouldn't be practical putting them on the website. If you are looking for special teapots, feel free to reach out and let us know your budget, style preferences, and desired size, so we can recommend some for you.

About Ordering and Payment

|I'm interested in your products. Where can I buy them?

You can browse a lot of of products in our online shop, and make a purchase whenever you're ready. You are also welcome to visit us at the store. We currently have no local or international stockist. If you know some shops where you would like to see our products carried, please let us know here.

|Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do! Following is a list of the countries we currently ship to. If you don't see your country listed, please let us know! We will see what we can do. For more information on shipping methods, fees, and expected delivery time frame, etc., please refer to "Shipping & Return".

|What payment methods do you accept on your website?

For international customers, we accept various credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB), and PayPal. For Taiwanese customers, we also accept LinePay and pay-on-delivery/pick-up through various courier. You can choose the most convenient way to pay from what's available to your region upon checkout.

|Are there any discount codes available? Do you offer a bulk price?

We've always listed our product in a very reasonable price point. Therefore, we are seldom able to provide discounts. However, in order to give back to those who support us in the long run, you can get a TWD$100 store credit when signing up as our member. We provide reward programs for our members to exchange their points for store credits and/or products. For more information on our reward program, please refer to "Reward Program". If you'd like to become our wholesaler or stockist, please contact us from here.

|I've just placed an order. When can I expect it to ship?

We normally ship out orders within 1-2 business days. You will get a shipping notification email when your package is shipped. If you have pre-order items in your order, it will be shipped once all products are available. If you need us to expedite your order, please let us know. We will try our best to help.

|Can I revise/cancel my order?

If you need to make changes to your order, please let us know as soon as possible after placing it. Unfortunately, we can't change or cancel your order once it's shipped.
