About Aged Tea
If stored right, tea can last for as long as you like, and the flavor and fragrance will change year after year.
When a tea ages, the freshness and astringency gradually fade away, replaced by the herbal aroma and smooth texture.
Comparing to new teas, aged teas are less irritant and mild.

About Lioujixian
Lioujixian is a tea variety originated from Muzha, Taipei.
It was discovered by a local tea farmer Chang Wen-hui, in his own tea plantation, as a naturally cross-bred variety.
Lioujixian can be harvested 6 times a year, each comes with rich taste and enchanting aroma.
In 1980s, the variety was introduced to the middle part of Taiwan,
since the discoverer did not reserve the naming right, it was later renamed Sijichun.
Lioujixian in Muzha has been processed using highly fermented method, same as Tiekuanyin Tea,
which gives out very different characteristics than those processed in mid-Taiwan.
It is about 25-30% fermented, containing less caffeine, being less irritating for stomach.
