About Puerh Tea
Puerh Tea is a special tea grown and process in Yunnan, China.
There are three kinds of Puerh Teas, green, fermented, and blended.
The differences lies in how they are processed.

Green Puerhs are not fermented, or as some may say post-fermented,
meaning they are pressed into cakes/bricks while still green, and are left to ferment/age with time.
Hence ,Green Puerhs are more fragrant, grassy, with a stronger taste and stimulating texture.
High in caffeine; the taste and aroma will change with time, becoming smoother and mellower.

Fermented Puerhs are well-fermented before pressed into cakes/bricks.
Therefore, they came with a smoother texture and a herbal aroma.
Low in caffeine; the taste and aroma will remain mostly the same with time.
Blended Puerhs are the Puerhs pressed with both green and fermented materials,
having the characteristics of both.

This tea is a Green Puerh.

Packaging - Simple but Sufficient
❖ We provide only the necessities, so waste is reduced and shipping fee is saved.
❖ Each different teas are packed individually with plastic bags, so their flavors will not affect each other. Please remove the bags upon receive. Do not store the teas in plastic bags.
・・・
Instructions
❖ Amount of tea leaves used for each brew: About 15% of the volume of tea vessel
❖ Time for infusion: About 30-40 seconds
❖ Tea leaves can be reused for: 9-10 brews

For best result, make sure to break up enough amount of teas before brewing, instead of soaking the tea as a whole piece.
We recommend using a strainer to filter out the fragments when brewing, as there will be a lot of small bits of tea leaves.
To keep your tea fresh, store in dry and non-air-tight containers, such as purple clay or tin tea caddy, or even a clean cookie box made of metal.
Please do not keep the teas in the plastic bag that came with it, or any air-tight containers, in case of oder occurred after time.
Keep away from kitchen and fridge to avoid mixture of taste.
